It’s true. Bonefish really do live in the most beautiful places. When most people think of paradise, they think about lush vegetation, exotic flora and fauna, swaying palm trees, white sand beaches and clear, blue water accompanied with a good rum drink or margarita. Don’t get me wrong, all of the above check the box for paradise; but for me, I know I am in paradise when there are bonefish.
But it’s not just the tropical vibe that I crave, it’s watching a bonefish track my fly and it’s final surge of energy as it grabs my fly and takes off like Herschel Walker heading towards the end zone on an 80 yard break away touchdown.
