The Sustainable Angler Podcast: Jimmy Buffett

Posted on April 1, 2020

Rick Crawford

I have been a lifelong Jimmy Buffett fan having grown up listening to his music, and I can’t wait to share this interview with you! I have also read almost every one of his books (currently wrapping up A Salty Piece of Land) and in case you didn’t know, Buffett loves to fly fish. In this episode we discuss everything from using a sea plane to scout for bonefish, surfing in Hawaii and the philanthropic work Buffett has done over the years with Save the Manatee, Singing for Change and more…hope you enjoy!

If you have made it this far, Happy April Fool’s Day! Kick back, grab a margarita and tune in to Radio Margaritaville and escape! In all seriousness, we would love nothing more than to interview Jimmy Buffett, but for now, we will turn up the tunes and finish reading A Salty Piece of Land! Also, be on the lookout for Buffett’s new album, “Life on the Flip Side” which is to be released some time later this year. Finally, stay safe and healthy and always remember to laugh! “We need more fruitcakes in this world!
