In this episode of The Sustainable Angler, I had the pleasure to interview Conservation Hawks President and Founder Todd Tanner. When I was first starting out with Emerger Strategies I was introduced to Todd and we had multiple calls and I am grateful for Todd’s support of Emerger Strategies and guidance over the years, and also for his films, Cold Waters, Chrome, Convergence and In the Heart of the Rockies. As I worked to piece together how to marry fly fishing and sustainability over the years, Conservation Hawks and Todd’s films were, and still are, a true inspiration, so thank you! Anyways, in this episode we talk about how Todd went from being a fishing guide on the Henry’s Fork to a full-time writer to founding Conservation Hawks and his latest project, School of Trout. We also discuss how climate change is impacting our fisheries and the sport we love, what you can do to act on climate and a little fishing. Hope you enjoy!
On a side note, I am proud to announce that Emerger Strategies and The Sustainable Angler will be donating 1% of our 2020 sales to Conservation Hawks through our 1% for the Planet Membership. Also, for those of you who have been following “The Sustainable Angler” for a couple of years now, Todd Tanner was the second interview I did when The Sustainable Angler was just a Q&A Blog series. Below are some links worth checking out that we discuss in the podcast:

Also, THANK YOU for listening!
