RepYourWater Sets Target of Donating $65K to Conservation in 2018

Posted on November 5, 2018

Rick Crawford

Fishing and hunting apparel brand, RepYourWater, is working to surpass their 2017 goal of donating $50K to conservation by giving $65K in 2018!  RepYourWater donates 3% of all sales to their nonprofit partners, such as Bonefish & Tarpon Trust, Backcountry Hunters & Anglers, local chapters of Trout Unlimited and many others, and they are asking for your help this Holiday season to make their largest donation contribution in company history!

RepYourWater measures the success of their business not by how much money they can make, but by how much they can give back.  Since their inception in 2011, RepYourWater has donated over $130K to their nonprofit conservation partners because RepYourWater was built on the foundation of giving back to conservation.  RepYourWater also measures the success of their business by how they can work towards minimizing the environmental impact of their own operations, and are now also working towards their 2020 Sustainability Goals:

  • Zero Greenhouse Gas Emissions:  Offset  100% GHG emissions from HQ
  • Zero Waste:  Divert 95% of waste from the landfill
  • Donate $250,000 to nonprofit conservation partners
  • Volunteer 200 hours to local conservation nonprofits

In fact, RepYourWater released their 2017 Sustainability Report and are on track to achieving their sustainability goals.

Personally, I buy products that align with my values, and love that when I purchase from RepYourWater I know that I am not only receiving top quality gear, but also supporting environmental nonprofits that are working to protect what I love.  Here’s a few of my favorites from their Fall 2018 Collection:

  • The Saddle Hackle Flannel
  • Low-key dry fly embroidery on The Saddle Hackel Flannel
  • The Viajero Vest
  • Knit Hats & Socks

Where can you find these amazing products that give back to conservation?  Check out the RepYourWater Fall 2018 Collection, or if I could be so bold, I would encourage you to support local businesses and fly shops that carry RepYourWater this Holiday season as buying local helps keep money in your local community.  So, if you know of any conservation-minded hunters and anglers, I would persuade you to support RepYourWater as they are a truly authentic and purpose-driven brand who exemplifies their beliefs with actions.
